My name is Max Barnard, i've been fitting wood floors since 1986. In this time I have fitted all types of wood floors including HDF laminates,Hard wood engineered boards,20mm solid strip,20mm blocks(herringbone floor),10mm Parquet battens 10mm parquet strip also 20mm panels. Some of this flooring is pre finished and some of it is finished on site.

My work has been on shops and houses.Some of the shops that I have worked on as a member of a team are as follows ,The Sports Department of Harrods,Dickens & Jones in Regents Street London,Cecil Gees London,Heals Kings Road London,many Next shops over London and Essex,also Armarni in Sloan Street London .I have also installed floors on my own and not part of a team  in Next in Chelmsford Essex,French Connection Kings Road London and Habitat in Blue Water also a small amount of the flooring in the mall of Blue Water.

Over the years I have installed hundreds of floors in houses including the homes of  Dougray Scott (actor) , Elaine Page and Dame Helen Mirren.

Most of my work is by recomendation with many happy customers also having more and more work done in their homes.

My job is not only to fit a floor it is also to make sure that the customer is happy from start to finish , at the start i will sit down with the customer and talk about the options of what fitting systems can be used in their home also the type of flooring they can have as in solid or engineered and what sort of wood they want ie Oak,Maple ,Wenge and so on.I will also talk about the options of finishing the floor  to door ways , fire hearths and face brick work and mat wells.

My heart gose fully into each job thinking of all possible options as no two jobs are ever the same and the customer will get what they want.

I offer a supply and fit service or just a fitting service if you have already got you own flooring or want to get your own,I also offer a sand and seal service . If your fed up with your old carpet and you have an old pine floor under it we can sand  and seal the floor for you or if you would like it a bit darker then we can sand stain and seal the floor for you.Or maybe your old hard wood floor is looking a bit dull and you would like it restored  then just give me a call.or drop me an email.
